An interactive, learner-centered approach will be used. This will be supported by case and problem-based learning approaches, ongoing opportunities for interaction between participants and presenters as well as among participants. Group discussions will be encouraged, providing excellent opportunities for exchange and sharing one’s clinical realities and experiences. Current literature in the field, as well as seminal studies and papers will be reviewed and discussed.
A multipronged evaluation approach will be used that is designed to encourage reflection and learning. They will therefore be part of the learning process. This will include short knowledge quizzes and attitudes and comfort surveys pre and post the different units. Evaluation is a requirement for ECTS creditation.
